Outreach

If you are living with domestic violence, or think something may be wrong, but are not sure what to do, our outreach program is for you. Our outreach worker provides education about healthy and unhealthy relationships, helping you to understand family violence. We will help you understand practical ways to stay safe, empower you to reconnect to community and link you to resources and community supports that will help you connect to the strength you have to permanently break free from violence at home. And, we will make sure you have the personalized support you need to navigate what can be an overwhelming process. On any given day, our outreach worker may be providing emotional support at court hearings, advocating on your behalf for services or helping you obtain basic necessities, such as food, clothing or shelter.

We understand you and your family have complex needs. To meet these needs, we may also work with other service agencies to increase your capacity to heal. The process, called wraparound, uses and enhances your own strengths, our work team and community to address many needs. By “wrapping” supports and services around individuals and families, rather than asking you to conform to existing services, wraparound is inherently responsive to your needs.

Call, text or email outreach at 587-879-6125.
