Global 20th Annual Give Me Shelter Campaign

For 20 years, Global Edmonton has rallied the generous support of the community for the Global News Give Me Shelter campaign. This campaign has provided thousands of much-needed items and Christmas gifts for women and children who are the survivors of violence in our community, as well as thousands of dollars in donations.

This year, Global News is inviting viewers and listeners to support the 20th Annual Global News Give Me Shelter campaign. Join us and stand up for women and children fleeing domestic violence by making sure they have the items they need, and more when they arrive at the women’s shelters.

This campaign supports 6 Edmonton area shelters: A Safe Place, Jessie’s House, La Salle Shelter, Lurana Shelter, WIN House, and WINGS of Providence.

We are asking our community to donate gift cards and online monetary donations to help make the holidays a bit brighter for these women and children. Donations will be accepted until December 14.
