Gemma Nye
“hi hi, it’s Gemma Nye ✨ A kaleidoscope of glitter and hairspray, this non-binary drag clown has been performing across Canada since 2018. Gemma snatched the Stiletto Award for Best Host in the 2022 Stilettos, proving why they’re the hostex with the mostex! This artist creates every look using upcycled and secondhand materials – now THAT’s penny wise. The circus is in town, so get down to clown with Gemma Nye!”
“Party Queens’ partnership with the JMMF Break Free 5/10K Run & Walk is so important to us because right now more than ever, it’s critical to include 2SLGBTQIA+ voices and show what a bright light our community can shine! We are excited to encourage inclusion and diversity in a positive way through this event and show that we are stronger together!”

Mike Cameron – MC
His TEDx talk, “Redefining Badass: The Way Men Think of Strong Is Wrong” challenges societal norms about masculinity. In 2018, his CBC Op-Ed, “Dear Men,” challenged men to do more, and was shared over 125,000 times. Mike founded Connect’d Men, an organization dedicated to creating spaces for men to practice emotional fitness, and co-founded the Ignore No More Run for Respect, raising awareness of gender-based violence.
Mike is passionate about teaching men the art of emotional connection. He knows that emotionally connected men don’t kill people.
His two adult children inspire him to continue to become a better man, a father, and a leader.
