Legal Aid Alberta offers free or low cost legal help after family violence. Lawyers can assist with protection orders, family law, and navigating court processes.

A Safer Spaces Certificate lets you end a rental lease early for safety. It helps you move from a violent home without paying lease penalties.

Domestic violence leave allows workers to take time away from work for safety. Eligible employees can access up to ten days of unpaid job protected leave.

The Pet Safekeeping Program arranges temporary confidential care for your animals. It helps keep you and your pets safe while you plan next steps.
