In order to raise funds to support victims of domestic violence in the Morinville and Sturgeon area, the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation was approached by DQ Morinville to be the recipients of a DQ Blizzard day at their Morinville location. All proceeds from Blizzard sales and “round-up” will be donated to the Foundation for this one day. There will be local Business and Government Leaders on hand including the Mayors of Morinville, Sturgeon County and St. Albert. The JMMF will have a booth set-up in the store to offer information on the Foundation and our Goals. Media are encouraged to contact the Director of Public Relations to find out when Government Officials and Business leaders are expected to be on hand. It is expected that the JMMF will break ground on their Safe House in Morinville in the Spring of 2018 and the funds raised by this fundraising event will go directly to the cost of building.

We will be hosting a Standard First Aid Recertification on this day to act as a Fundraiser and Sponsor Appreciation Event for the JMMF. Price listed is the price for general attendance. This is a two-day Fundraiser/Sponsor appreciation event for the JMMF. Participants will receive Standard First Aid Certification from St. John Ambulance with attendance during this 2-day course.
